Livingston - the Original Gateway to Yellowstone National Park - lies on the banks of the Yellowstone River.


Livingston Montana sits below the first canyon of the Yellowstone River, along the original and only year round entrance to Yellowstone National Park, just 25 miles east of Bozeman.

Lying in a beautiful valley surrounded by four mountain ranges this is the ideal location for relaxation and recreation, nestled beside the Yellowstone River.

The community of Livingston is filled with the history of Calamity Jane, Lewis and Clark and the Yellowstone National Park.


Located on the I 90 corridor just 55 miles north of the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, Livingstone, MT is considered a gateway community to the oldest National Park.

Getting Here

It is an easy, fast trip between Livingston and Bozeman, MT. Just get on I-90 and head west. In about 30 minutes, you will be in Bozeman.
