Sweet Pea 2016 ~ August 5-7
The first weekend of August the community of Bozeman, Montana comes alive to celebrate the arts with its annual Sweet Pea Festival. Every year hundreds of volunteers work together to put on a festival jam-packed with entertainment, art and family fun. Sweet Pea Festival highlights include: music of all genres, performances by local theatre and dance troupes, workshops, family-friendly entertainment and activities, a flower show, and over 100 unique arts and crafts vendors to stroll through. Details: Founded in 1978, Sweet Pea Festival is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that supports the arts, arts, education and special community projects. Ancillary events before and during the three-day festival include the Chalk on the Walk, Bite of Bozeman, Art Show, Children’s Run and Parade. Each year, a new artist’s poster design highlights the Sweet Pea Festival theme.
