If the words "Bozeman, Montana" and "arts mecca" don't seem to belong together, maybe you haven't checked out the Sweet Pea Festival. Founded in 1978, the Sweet Pea Festival has been bringing a full roster of music, art and cultural events to Bozeman. The three day festival in Downtown Bozeman includes: chalk on the walk, a parade, arts and crafts sales, juried and open art shows, children's activities, a flower show, dining on Main Street, theatre, music and dance workshops and performances and major evening concerts.

Friday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 


Event Cost: $15 per wristband in advance and $20 at the gate for 3 day passes; $10 for day passes; children 7-12: $5/day;  children 6 and younger are FREE.

Founded in 1978, Sweet Pea Festival is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that supports the arts, arts, education and special community projects. Ancillary events before and during the three-day festival include the Sweet Pea Ball, Chalk on the Walk, Bite of Bozeman, Art Show Opening, Children’s Run and Parade. Each year, a new artist’s poster design highlights the Sweet Pea Festival theme.
