Bozeman Courts
There are three locations where you’ll find tennis courts.
- Bozeman High / Chief Joseph Middle School – these outdoor courts are located on the corner of Main and 11th.
- Southside Courts – three nice outdoor courts are at the corner of South 5th and West College Street.
- Montana State University Bobcat Anderson Tennis Center – here you’ll find 8 outdoor courts and 4 indoor courts. Right next to the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse between Grant and Kagy. If you play the indoor courts, you need to make a reservation and pay an hourly fee.
Bozeman Tennis Association
Bozeman Tennis Association is part of the United States Tennis Association, whose mission is to promote and develop the growth of tennis. They have a players services department who will work with both junior and professional players. This department assists in handling player grant requests, wild card requests and giving help to players, coaches and parents in understanding the rules.
Summer Events in Bozeman
Every summer shows a lot of tennis activity in Bozeman. There will be the Montana Jr. Team Championship and the Bozeman City Tournament. The Montana State Jr. Open happens around the same time – in July or August. The ITA 14’s Labor Day Circuit is open each year for Juniors and in September, you’ll find the Montana State Adult Open.
B League Summer Play
Bozeman has a summer schedule for the B League. Once you sign up, you can play on Wednesday nights.
BzTA Summer Youth Tennis Program
Offering low-cost tennis lessons for kids, this summer program is ideal for those of all abilities. Have your child develop agility, footwork and ball tracking skills. Lessons are usually held at the Bozeman High courts.
USTA League Calendar
Checking with the United States Tennis Association, you’ll find all the dates for League Play, including Spring Mixed and Summer League districts and championships. If you are over 50, you can join up with the Senior League District Championships for some exciting play.
