The winter season opens from Thanksgiving, late November, until mid-April. The resort offers luxurious comforts in a pristine and natural setting. Explore and enjoy this genuine resort in its breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife and gracious hospitality.

Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin Resort Interconnect

Skiers and Riders will be able to purchase one ticket or season pass to access both resorts. Pricing for interchangeable lift tickets and season passes will be released at a later date and we will include it here as soon as it is available.

The two resorts share the same mountain, Lone Peak, roughly an hour from Bozeman. The resorts even shared several trails and a lift in the past. But previously, it was necessary to purchase a ticket or season pass from each if you wanted to ski them both. This year, skiers and snowboarders have the option to purchase tickets and passes allowing unlimited access to both resorts.

Combined, the two trail networks offer nearly 5,300 acres of skiable terrain and the second-biggest vertical descent in the US, at 4,350'. Between them, the two resorts operate 23 lifts. Given the already low skier density at both resorts, the uniting of these resorts will provide even more open runs for visitors.

Lone Peak Pass Pricing (offers skiing across both resorts)
