Moonlight Basin Resort and Big Sky Resort Interconnect
Skiers and Riders are now able to purchase one ticket or season pass to access both resorts, dubbed the "Lone Peak Pass". The two resorts share the same mountain, Lone Peak, roughly an hour from Bozeman. The resorts even shared several trails and a lift in the past. Previously, it was necessary to purchase a ticket or season pass from each if you wanted to ski them both.

Combined, the two trail networks offer nearly 5,300 acres of skiable terrain and the second-biggest vertical descent in the US, at 4,350'. Between them, the two resorts operate 23 lifts. Given the already low skier density at both resorts, the uniting of these resorts will provide even more open runs for visitors.

2011-2012 Lone Peak Pass Pricing (offers skiing across both resorts)

  • Adult (18 ) $98
  • College (w/current ID) $78
  • Junior (11-17) $78
