MSU Sports

For those fortunate enough to call Bozeman home, one of the added benefits of living in this energetic community is the privilege of seeing live collegiate-level athletics. From the moment the fall semester begins in late August, women's volleyball and men's football greet students and locals alike.

The public is encouraged to attend all MSU athletic events offering seasonal ticket packages, group ticket, or "show up at the game" options. MSU offers programs in Track and Field, Basketball, Football, Skiing, Golf, Cross Country, Tennis and Volleyball. With the exception of national holidays, hardly a day or evening goes by without there being some athletic contest on the school schedule.

The Bobcat is the MSU mascot, and alumni from around the country flock back to Bozeman throughout the year to show support for their various athletic programs. MSU plays in the Big Sky Conference which consists of MSU, Weber State (Utah), Idaho State (Idaho), Northern Arizona, Eastern Washington, University of Montana (Missoula), Portland State (Oregon), Sacramento State (California) and Northern Colorado University in Greeley.
