Pine Creek Campground requires quite a trip to get there, but once there, campers have amenities, as well as the natural splendor and forest wonders of Gallatin National Forest.

Overview
The Pine Creek Campground provides access to the Pine Creek Trailhead, day-use picnicking, and an accessible fishing platform. There are also horse unloading facilities 1/4 mile before Pine Creek Campground, however, horses are not allowed in the campground.
Location
Starting from Livingston
- Head south on Highway 89 for 9 miles, turn left onto East Side Road, and drive 6 miles.
- Go 1/4 mile past the town of Pine Creek and turn onto Forest Service Road 202.
- Go 3 miles south to Pine Creek Campground.
Starting from Yellowstone National Park at Mammoth, WY
- Travel north on Highway 89 to the Pray turnoff on Mill Creek Road.
- Turn right onto Mill Creek Road and go 1/2 mile to the stop sign at the junction with East Side Road.
- Turn left on East Side Road for about 10 miles to Forest Service Road 202.
- Turn right onto 202 and go 3 miles south to the campground.
Reservations
- Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
- Maximum 2 vehicles and 8 people per single-family site.
- This campground has first come, first serve sites.
- Two non-towed vehicles may be parked per site; the first vehicle is included in the basic fee, the second vehicle is charged the extra fee. A fee of $8.00 for an extra vehicle will be collected at the campground. Sites may be available on a first come-first served basis outside and during the reservation season.
