Museum of the Rockies

Do not miss an opportunity to visit Bozeman’s Museum of the Rockies, hosting the renowned Taylor Planetarium, one of the finest paleontology collections available, and exhibits detailing the cultural and natural history of the Northern Rocky Mountain region for the last 4 billion years.

Directions
From US HWY I-90, exit 19th Avenue and continue south about 4 miles on 19th Avenue to Kagy Boulevard, turn left and follow signs to museum.

Hours
Memorial Day through Labor Day: 8 am to 8 pm all week with planetarium shows all day
During the rest of the year: 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday; Sunday from 12:30 pm to 5 pm
Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day

Fees
Admission fee is good for two consecutive days.
Adults: $10
Kids (ages 5 to 18): $7
Kids (4 and under): FREE
MSU Students (with valid ID): $7
Seniors: $9

Gallatin Historical Society Pioneer Museum

Built in 1911 as the Gallatin County jail, the Gallatin County Pioneer Museum now educates and entertains visitors with exhibits, military records, historic pictures, books, maps, tours and stories of the good ol' days.

Main Street Exit 309: Continue west about a mile and a half on Main Street to museum.
North 19th Street Exit 305: Continue south on North 19th to Main Street and turn left.

Children’s Museum of Bozeman

Spend some quality time with the kids at Bozeman’s Children’s Museum. Hands-on, sensory exhibits and programs stimulate and encourage kids’ imagination, curiosity, and self-confidence.
