Bozeman is at an elevation of 4810 feet and covers 12.6 square miles. Plant growth is fairly lush as the soils here are fertile and rich. There are a number of parks within the city including South Park, Bozeman Pond, Lindley Park and Grafs Park. Since Bozeman is only 93 miles north of Yellowstone National Park, it makes a great place to set up your 'vacation headquarters.' There's plenty to do around Bozeman day in and day out to make it worth your while.
